Neighborhood Ownership Model & National Night Out Information

The Tilles Park Neighborhood Association is interested in creating a Neighborhood Ownership Plan which is a flexible, community-based approach to reducing crime.  We have scheduled a meeting on  August 25th at 6:30 p.m. (30 minutes prior to the general meeting) at the Police Officer’s Association (3710 Hampton Ave.).  At this meeting, you will be given information about Neighborhood Ownership Plans and we will discuss as a group if this is something we want to consider.  I have attached two handouts that contains more detailed information about this topic.   Please email us at Tillespark@gmail.com if you are interested in attending the meeting.
In addition, National Night Out (America’s Night Out Against Crime) is coming up on Tuesday, August 4th.  National Night Out is a cohesive effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, establish police-community partnerships, and build neighborhood camaraderie among neighbors.  In 2014, over 115 blocks across the City of St.Louis participated, hosting potlucks, providing resources for residents, games for young people and fun activities to get neighbors acquainted.  It was a huge success.  Let’s make 2015 even bigger!
Register your block here:
The deadline for registration is Wednesday, July 22nd.

I look forward to seeing most of you on August 25th and hope many of you can host a block party on August 4th
